Responsible gambling

Gambling is entertainment with a real risk of losing money. If it is affecting your finances, relationships or wellbeing, stop playing and reach out for support. You do not need to wait for a crisis to ask for help.

Set boundaries before playing

Decide how much money and time you can afford to spend, and stop when either limit is reached. Keep funds for housing, food, bills and savings separate. Do not borrow to gamble, chase losses or treat a bonus as a way to recover money.

Take a break or self-exclude

Boomzino’s casino navigation includes Self-Exclusion and Responsible Gaming. Use the available account controls or ask support for help applying a restriction. A password reset or a new account must not be used to get around a break or self-exclusion.

If it is difficult to keep to your limits, step away from play and ask someone you trust for support. Consider blocking access to gambling services alongside getting professional help.

Support in Canada

The Responsible Gambling Council’s help directory provides Canadian support options, including local counselling and online resources. It also explains how to find help in your area. Support is available for people affected by someone else’s gambling as well as their own.

Protect young people

Only adults who meet the legal gambling age in their location and the site’s minimum of 18 may participate. Keep account credentials private and do not leave a signed-in gambling account accessible to children or teenagers.
